Hinabangan, Samar

Hinabangan is a 4th class municipality in the province of Samar, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 12,120 people in 2,176 households.

Hinabangan was formed in 1948 from the former municipal districts of Concord and Hinabangan.[1]

  • Bagacay is politically subdivided into Four Puroks, Purok 1A, Purok 1B, Purok 1C, Purok 2, Purok 3, and Purok 4. Honorable Alfredo L. Tinay is the current barangay captain
